About Us

Founded in the heart of New York City post-pandemic, One Therapy, PLLC was created with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by immigrants, students, and high achievers navigating the complexities of modern life. We recognize the significant cultural gaps that often exist in traditional psychotherapy and understand that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t always work, especially when it comes to bridging Eastern and Western paradigms. Many of us come from cultures where mental health is not always discussed openly, and the approach to therapy can feel foreign or disconnected from our lived experiences.

At One Therapy, PLLC, we believe that healing and growth should be accessible to everyone—regardless of cultural background, identity, or life stage. Our team of therapists is trained in culturally sensitive practices that honor your unique heritage and experiences, while also incorporating evidence-based techniques. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress from school or work, relationship struggles, or the challenges of setting boundaries, our therapy services are designed to meet you where you are.

We take an individualized, client-centered approach, offering tailored strategies that resonate with your values and life circumstances. At One Therapy, PLLC, we’re here to help you not just survive, but thrive, in a world that can feel overwhelming and disconnected at times. No matter your background or challenges, you will find a supportive, compassionate space where you can work through what matters most to you.

Our Approach

We believe in the power of personalized care. Using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, we tailor each treatment plan to fit your unique needs and concerns. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can work through challenges with a plan designed specifically for you.

Meet the Founder

Qingquan Yang/Alice, LCSW, SIFI

Hi, I’m Alice, the founder of One Therapy, PLLC. I graduated from NYU and later pursued post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Informed Care. My approach to therapy is holistic and rooted in evidence-based practices, designed to support you in navigating life’s ups and downs with lasting, meaningful change.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, college counseling centers, and community clinics across New York. Most recently, I served as the Clinic Director and Supervisor at an Article 31 clinic in Brooklyn. Through my experiences, I realized that many people, especially those from immigrant and first-generation backgrounds, struggle to find culturally sensitive care that truly resonates with their unique experiences. This is what led me to create One Therapy: a space where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to work through your challenges with a therapist who gets it.

I’m here to help you find clarity, develop practical tools, and heal in a way that feels right for you—because you deserve a therapy experience that’s as unique as you are.
